I have been on Yaz for a little more than a year and until reading this postings didn't fully realize that a lot of bad things were related to taking this pill. For sure my sex drive was gone completely but I figured I could probably live with that. I had very few BM and stomach cramps specially when just starting the new pack every month. There were a lot of other things that have been mentioned but lately and the reason I'm writing is that I've been having chest pain and feel my heart pounding just from going up the stairs. Also my muscles feel very week, especially my legs. This is really scary and already made an appt with my PCP. Has anyone heard anything or has had heart issues related to Yaz? Something that can help me ask questions or give my doctor more clues.

I feel really weak too... but I was thinking its because of Yaz helps take off water. I think the weakness is related to dehydration. I have to drink A LOT of water to catch up with this pill - uggh!

Go to your doctor asap! I don't mean to scare you but Yaz has a bad rap for causing blood clots especially in the lungs and legs. I am on Yaz and have been for less than a week and am having similar problems. At first I thought it might be stress, but I started looking up Yaz side effects online and found out that is probably what is causing the problem. Needless to say, I decided I won't be taking it any more, I've had enough. My life is not worth it, to try and stick it out.
