I am currently going through what you describe. I have been on it for 3 weeks now hoping that the pain and headaches/migraines would go away but instead I just keep getting sicker. With each dose increase so does my joint pain and sickness. I was on it for 4 days once before, this is my second trial. I really want this to work because I've heard it's helped other people but I just feel so terrible I don't know what to do either.

I also had body aches at night after taking my second dose. It was aches as if I ran 5 miles. I had to lay down.

Hi, I've been on Topomax for approximately 8 months. Shortly after going on the medicine I started having severe muscle pain in my neck. I had an injury to my head and neck a few years before this, so just thought I strained it again. So I've been going to physical therapy, etc. etc... After reading what you write.... I'm sure my severe muscle pain is from the Topomax. It all fits! I ache constantly in my neck, back, down my arms and in my hands. I even thought I was developing MS symptoms!! I can't believe my doctor hasn't picked up on my symptoms and suggested that it might be the Topomax!!! I'm going off this horrible medicine and will deal with my migraines a different way. Thanks,
