I found generic and regular Celexa about the same....First days of taking even 10mg which is low, can make you feel funny, fatigued and foggy. It takes time for these to level off. Surprised they didn't give you Zanax for immediate relief but probably the same thing. Hang in there. I had anxiety attacks as a child too but everybody blew it off as being overly sensitive about life. Little did I know it would all blow up in my adulthood. Take deep breaths and keep telling yourself you're going to be ok, it just takes a little time. It does...this isn't just "feel good" advice...When my psyciatrist first said, "you're going to be ok", I think I felt half the load lift off me. Its called HOPE. Had taking medication too but sometimes....you gotta just do what helps. :)
Thanks a lot! This second day is actually much better!! I'm not as shaky, less fatigued and don't feel spaced out at all! I actually feel slightly more confident! I am trying so hard to stay positive with all of this!! I'm only 23 and have so much life to live! I think that's my biggest fear: I will never get better. I'm so glad that life is better for you! I hope I get to share my "success" story one day...how long did it take for you to get your anxiety under control? Have you ever slipped back into bad anxiety or have you been able to manage it pretty well?
