I have been on Topomax 200mg a day for 22 days for seizures and am doing very well. I do have some of the tingling sensations and the dry mouth, loss of appetite, but,the truth is that I will welcome that. Of course, I am being very careful as I would be with any medication. I work with people with severe disabilities and realize that doctors have reason for prescribing medications. Sometimes they work, and sometimes they don't. As patients, we need to help them and ourselves, by doing what you are doing, being informed and monitoring your side effects. Good luck and I hope that it works for you as it has for me. This the longest I have been without a seizure in months!
