Alesse is sitll available. the compandy had a problem with the packaging in 2007 so it was in short supply. Get your Dr. to write your prescription for Alesse with "no substitutions" then your insurance company might cover the difference. Also, ask you pharmacist about a card that the Alesse drug reps are giving to them to cover the difference between aviane and alesse.
Have you been able to find the name brand Alesse?
? I have been told my 2 pharmacies it was discontinued in 2007 and only Aviane is available. I only took Alesse until I had my son and have tried over 5 different pills after nursing him and nothing seems to be like Alesse. I am desperate to have it back. Any help would be appreciated it! Thanks so much, Crystal
