I would still tell your dr so at least even if he does'nt believe you it gets written in your file to never have this class of meds again...then send in a medwatch report at the FDA website...we have to keep the numbers real. I know how you feel...I have had it with drs..so many of them now...the only upside is my dr immediately knew what was happening when I told her..unfortunately, she is just an FNP..but has been very supportive and is now very careful about how she prescribes this drug...at least she says if we can't figure out a cure, we will figure out how to help you live with it...for 3 yrs now last month...keep your head up and just take it easy..research as much as you can about what others have done...there is a gal who documented her journey at www.floxintoxin.com and shares all the different things she tried....saved me alot of leg work and time altho I haven't had too much improvement yet, I am still hopefull. Take care!
I'm a 54 year old woman who was given 10 days of Levaquin last year. It ruined my knees permanently by damaging the cartilage in both knees.
