I read alot on this website where people have pulled them out themselves. I felt for mine last night & almost did do it just to get rid of the headache, but I'd wait for a doctor. I go tomorrow so it would only be one more day for me. It's all up to you though and what you're comfortable with.

I wouldn't if I were you. Please let your doc do it. Ihad mine removed Monday. I got my period today. I real, regular period. I was due for it anyway (even though I never got one on Mirena - I always knew when it was that time of the month). It came out painlessly. He asked me to make a big cough & he tugged it out at that moment. he said when you cough, your diaphragm floor loosens & lossens everything around it. So if you were to do this yourself, (but again, I hope you don't), then make sure you give a good cough at the time you pull it. Makes it easier he said. Seriosuly though...I can't believe anyone would want to do it themselves. Good luck.

Thanks everyone. I have a doctor's appointment on Monday. I won't do it myself! :)
