I was put on Nuvaring a little over a year ago. I was like a lot of you and can't take the pill daily to save my life, so I thought this was amazing. I liked it for the first four months, except for having to push it back constantly. The fifth month I was really short on cash and went off it for a month, I was single and not seeing anyone so I didn't figure it would hurt. Boy was I wrong! The next month I went back on because I could afford it and I started dating someone. The first month back on was fine, but the next two months my sex drive plummeted dramatically. I went off it to see if my want for sex would come back, but it didn't. It actually got worse. I started having burning and sharp pains during intercourse. I went to see my doctor and neither she or another doctor could find anything wrong. They prescribed and suggested several medications and supplements that haven't helped To this day I am still having pains, though not as severe as they were initially, and I am still wondering when my sex drive will come back.
