My 11 month old baby was put on Singulair two days ago to help improve his ashma and severe allergy problems, he used to be a good sleeper (sleeps the entire night since he was 2 months old from 8 pm to 7 am) but last night he woke up at 10:30pm, 1:30 am, 3:45pm, and finally he was done with his sleeping at 6:30 am, also he has experienced nausea and vomit. I notice that his breathing is improving but how long I have to wait to really prove that he is getting any of all the terrible side effects I read in here?

You don't have to wait at all! Ask for another treatment. Good luck to you.

I agree with the previous post. Personally, I would DEMAND they provide you with an alternate medication. This drug is NOT an important drug for pediatric asthma and allergies. I can provide more information if you need it. I can't believe they're giving this to 11month old children who cannot communicate their side effects and feelings.

Now, I'm no doctor, but I think your baby is way too young to be on Singulair....read ALL the side effects these kids are having! I just stopped taking it after 9 yrs. I was diagnosed with medication resistant depression about 6 months after I started taking it....I've had too many lost yrs due to depression....and side effects from antidepressants....No more depression after about a week off it! It scares me when I hear the stories of these very young kids with violent issues and psychological problems due to this drug. PLEASE rethink your decision! I'm a mom of 2, and you couldn't PAY me to give it to my kids!
