I agree with the previous post. Personally, I would DEMAND they provide you with an alternate medication. This drug is NOT an important drug for pediatric asthma and allergies. I can provide more information if you need it. I can't believe they're giving this to 11month old children who cannot communicate their side effects and feelings.
Now, I'm no doctor, but I think your baby is way too young to be on Singulair....read ALL the side effects these kids are having! I just stopped taking it after 9 yrs. I was diagnosed with medication resistant depression about 6 months after I started taking it....I've had too many lost yrs due to depression....and side effects from antidepressants....No more depression after about a week off it! It scares me when I hear the stories of these very young kids with violent issues and psychological problems due to this drug. PLEASE rethink your decision! I'm a mom of 2, and you couldn't PAY me to give it to my kids!
