I am a 46year old male who has been on Lisinopril and Enalapril for about 2years. I'm having extreme joint pain in my knees and fingers .I have been checked for RA but they found no signs of this.I want to get off this medicine. Are there any alternative blood pressure medicines for diabetics. Right now I feel like i'm 70 years old and would like to know if anyone has stop the drug and if their systems subsided.

I fell upon this site looking for answers about the way I have been feeling. I am going to stop taking the lisinopril and see what happens. I am also on toprol. Anyway my mother is a diabetic and she takes altace for her high blood pressure, hope that helps!!
