well all cholesterol lowering medication has same side effact but only names are diffrent.my father is also victim of lipitor and he used this medication for almost 8 year's and the first reaction was severe sholder pain, which is he had that pain till he stop the medication. since he qiut the medication, he has no shoulder pain at all,so he got a lot of side effect heavy lower legs and muscle weakness and many more.................and now he is not taking medication . his cholestrol is managed by his diet. dispite he is a heart patiant and also cholesterol medication slightly damaged his left ventricle. this web side is really a life saving ,and saved my father is life but unfortunately i found it 8 year's later after doctors did not found any diagnose for my father so i start research and i got this side .doctors always push to take drug which is shame despite of knowing the side effect.i hope full recovery for you god bless
