wow....so i have been having the majority of these symptoms and would never had thought it was the mirena until i started reading all these comments.. I had the mirena inserted in July 2006, I never lost any of my baby weight i still look like i did when i was 9 months pregnant....and i've never been overweight my whole life. I also started getting very bad lower back pains, but i have always just blamed it on being overweight. I did go to the doctors once they took an xray and said everything was fine. Other symptoms I have had are , always tired....no matter how many hours I sleep during the night i wake up so tired as if I haven't slept at all. My body always hurts, my arms shoulders and neck. The other night was the first time I had got any chest pain, it actually felt like I was having a heart attack, i was about to go to the ER but it stopped and never came back. Because of that this is why I started researching it. I plan on calling an OB doctor today to set up an appt to have it removed as soon as possible.
