Just started taking Prednisone 60mg today for an allergic reactio...

Ok, I'm curious about your symptoms to the penicillin drug. My twin 4 year olds just came off of the pred for the same thing you are taking it for. They had SEVERE HIVES which still have not completely gone away. They were on 10 mg a day for 14 days. We had wicked mood swings, hunger & irratability. Now that they are off we have terrible muscle pain & weakness. Which occured a little while on the drug w/one boy the other is getting it now...can't even climb on the bed or roll over the last 24 hours...Its very scary, and I'm skeptical if they were really allergic to the pen or if it may be a virus or have something to do w/vaccines they had the end of Jan....Let me know how you make out etc...Thanks for sharing...
