melibec and any one else who is having problems,I was mistaken i only had mirena since 2/26 and in 12 days i gained 10 pounds.I had it removed today.My gyn said she never heard of side effects like mine and did'nt think they were from the iud.I told her i wanted it out anyway.I know my body was reacting negitively to it so i felt it was best for me.It makes me wonder how bad i would have gotten reading everyone stories.Just because a medicine works for alot of women does'nt mean it works for us all.If you feel it's messing you up think about getting it out, it's your body you know it best.Take care and good luck.
