WOW!!! I CANNOT believe all of the negative experiences with this THING!! I feel so much better after reading all of this; I literally thought I was going crazy. I have a constant burning sensation in my stomach, so bad that I thought I was getting an ulcer and made an appt. with my Family Dr. to check me out. After reading all of the symptoms you ladies are having, I have realized, it is Mirena!! Terrible lower back pain, constant burning sensation in my stomach, I look as though I am pregnant (and I workout and watch what I eat), weight gain. NO sex drive I am so depressed, mood swings, etc. This is the 2nd strike against my OBGYN. They really touted this product as a godsend. I ask a ton of questions and I am very upset my Dr. was not more honest with me. I called a new Dr. and told them about the problems I was having. I have an appt. on Thursday, and I am going to push for them to take this thing out then. Thank you so much for sharing all of your experiences. It has helped my a ton :~)
