I do not know about interactions with paxil that you are taking but doxy's half life is 18-22 hours. When did you take the last pill? Drink a LOT of WATER. I had a sever allergic reaction to septra, which is a sulfur drug about two weeks ago. I took 2 benadryls right away and drank a lot of water which helped. Suffered for two days.

It is excreted by kidneys so def drink lots of water and NO alcohol!!! You might want to think of taking a liver cleanse also. Keep everyone posted on how you're doing. The other poster was correct about the half life being around 18 hours. When was your last dose?

I had anxiety and panic attacks for almost 6 months. That was horrible experience. In september 2008 my dentist prescrybed doxycycline 100 mg 2 times a day. And after 5 days I developed insomnia panic attaks and anxiety, titness in chest, heart poundig, I felt like my heart is trying jump off my chest. I was perfectly healthy guy before I loved to sleep normally 10 hrs, on doxy i was able to sleep only 2-3. The first day after i stopped taking doxy I slet for almost 12 hrs, that was great I thaut it's over, but I still had panic attacks and heart poundig for couple weeks. And oly after I start taking probiotic threelac my symptoms start slowly dissapearing, and now march 2009 I am almost perfectly normal I would say 90%. My heart is still pounding once in a while(once in 2 weeks for like an hour depends what I eat). Try to eat less sugar and dairy product this helped me. Good luck.

Though I felt considerably better within a few days. It took a month or so before I felt normal again. I still have bouts with fear and anxiety, but at this point I don't think it is related to the doxy.

Just so you know. Paxil may not be such a good thing either. I took it years ago for social anxiety and went off it because it seemed to make things worse.
