I am a 49yr old male who has had asthma all his life, Inhalers made me hyper, steroid inhalers caused bleeding in the nose. My asthma was triggered by cold air(I live in the northeast) dogs, cats, molds mites etc etc. Nine years ago I started Singulair. It changed my life for the better. I no longer even carry an inhaler, very few times will I use a pulmo-aid(sp) for fast acting relief from asthma. Sometimes I have leg cramps and some other side effects(very few). Everyone responds differently to medications. Singulair has had a positive effect on my life. Parents!!..It's hell to see your children go thru sickness. It was hard on my parents as well. Good luck and find the doctor who will be patient with you to help our kids.
