I am a 34 year old male and this drug is Horrible!! When I first started taking it, I was very light headed all the time and actually almost passed out a few times. The worst part for me was the hemorrhoids. I have never had a problem with that in my life. When I started taking it, the hemorrhoids appeared a couple months later. The worst pain in my life. I thought well, maybe I am not getting enough fiber, etc. So I started eating more fruits and vegetables and even taking supplements. Nothing changed. So when I was on google looking up side effects about this med, I saw one other person had the same problem. I stopped taking Lisinopril about 3 weeks ago and the hemorrhoids are almost gone. I also blame this med for making me dehydrated. My urine was always a dark yellow which is a sign of dehydration. I have no problems with that anymore. Also, the coughing was very annoying while on the med.

I have been on lisinopril for about 3 years now and I never had a problem. A new doctror with the same outfit decided to ncrease my dosage (dobled) from 20 mg to 40 mg. I started having problems with a hemorrhois I knew I had. Seems to have started hurting and bugging me more than before. This has only started since the doctor increases my doage of lisinopril. I have tried to used hemorrhoid oitments and suppositories and they offer little relief. Could this be due to the fact that lisinopril is a vaso dialator and the hemorrhoid medicine is a vaso constrictor? Seems to be a conflict in the two applications. ANyone with an answer would be appreciated.
