I started taking Lisinopril about six months ago. 20mg twice a day. I have the cough. I do sing-a-longs and folk music, so the cough is a real pain. This winter my hands were so dry, the skin was pealing off. My hair felt lifeless. I wake up and can't get back to sleep. I have had a cold twice this winter. I don't know how much of this is due to the meds. I have cut back to once a day and my hands are better and my hair feels better. Some days my lower number on my BP is very low. Tired all the time. I'm going to try cutting the pills in half and cut back some more. I hate to change meds because they all seem to have serious side effects. Oh, yeah, I'm 74. ...Cariboubill
