OMG!!!!!! IM HAVING THIS THING TAKEN OUT!!!!!!!! Im on hold waiting for my docter to tell him right now, Ive only had it in for 3 months now and ive been bleeding quite a bit, my period is worse (which they said would happen for the first 3 months), THANK GOD for all of you telling your stories because Im 45years old and i didnt understand the weight gain till im reading your post, I cant afford to be putting on extra pounds, its hard enough for me to take pounds off at this age, my sex drive is so so, I am more short tempered with my kids and I get migraines worse then i was in the past, i called my OBGYN a couple of days ago and then again this morning because he havent called me back yet, he loves the Mirena, but i feel he doesnt have enough experience with it because Ive had 2 other IUD'S inserted the past 15years and didnt have any problems close to this, and I DANG sure dont want to be gaining any extra pounds Im still trying to stay as SEXY as i can, not only for my husband but for myself, Im still on hold as im typing, BUT as soon as he gets on the phone Im going to have to give him a peice of my mind (in the most Godly way as I can), I love him, he's been my OBGYN for the past 15 years and i have never had a problem with him BUT THIS IS TOO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please let me know what other IUD would be better or another birth control that you recommend. (I will ask him the name of the one i had in the past)
ps. I will also be praying that I dont have Blood Clots the size of egg yolks falling down my leg after getting it taken out! OMG What a story, I felt bad for the lady that had that experience.
