Have faith, my hair did start to grow back right after removal! About six weeks post removal, I had these weird little hairs growing in all along my hair line and sticking up along my part, and now, 7 months later, those little hairs are blended in and things are getting back to normal. My periods are still a little weird and difficult to predict, but overall, I'd say 95% of the symptoms I attributed to the Mirena have completely gone away after having it removed. It gets better, so take good care of yourself, eat a healthy diet, take a multivitamin, get some exercise, and know that things will improve with time.
Mines been out almost 4 weeks and my nurse pract. said to give it at least 6 weeks before my period would start again.
