I am not talking about Prescription Prilosec, rather Prilosec OTC...

I am not talking about Prescription Prilosec, rather Prilosec OTC (over the counter). Since my insurance company raised my co-pay by leaps and bounds, I decided to try the OTC. Well, just recently I noticed my heart was fluttering. I reread the instruction to OTC and it is not to be taken every day like prescription Prilosec...only 14 days and then stop! I have exceeded that by several days. When I was first given the prescription, I went through many studies including an endoscopy which was proven that I had acid reflux. I hope this helps someone else who might try it. I guess it's going to take a fight with the insurance company next.
