has anyone used low dose lisinopril for kidney issues? i'm having an acute attack of nephrotic proteinuria and the kidney doc wanted to start me on lisinopril but we are waiting to see my latest round of blood work. my blood pressure has remained low (110 over 70 average) and since i've had asthma and other respiratory allergies, i'm pretty sure i would get the dreaded cough. i am otherwise healthy, all vitals are great, except for high protein in my urine and low protein in my blood. my kidney functions all test normal. the kidney doc thicks it may be resolving on it's own so why should i risk the side effects & toxins of lisinopril?
