Have experienced face flushing since taking Prednisone (along with all the other side effects). Does anyone else have this side effect? Also find the more times I increase/decrease Prednisone the less positive effect it has on my condition and have to take higher doses to get the same result.

My doctor put me on what I think is a mega dose of prednisone and I am also noticing that my face gets flushed very easily and feels hot. I have also had problems sleeping, ankle swelling and I feel as though I am trying to breath through very heavy (moist) air. I called the doc today and he is taking me off of the drug, but now I have a concern of quitting cold turkey.
