It could be that you have now developed Adult Onset Asthma - this can be triggered by a bad chest infection, etc. The best thing to do (if you have not already) is to go see a Pulmonolgist and be tested - and then put together an Asthma Action Plan - a daily medicine (your Advair), a rescue medicine (normally Ventolin inhaler) and a plan for sudden worsening of symptoms, etc. If you are diagnosed with Asthma - It is not something that goes away - it must be managed for the rest of your life. I developed adult onset asthma at the age of 28 - I am 35 now and take Flovent daily, Ventolin as needed and more aggressive treatment for when I have flairs.. Best of luck to you.
