If It makes you feel any better, since starting Yasmin, I've had the extra problem of 'burping' a bit more too. I think it's because birth control can cause stomach upset. You might not be getting nauseous but your stomach is still being bothered slightly. At least, that's what I think is going on me with me, since my body has boby has been responding great to the stuff.
As far as emotions go, it can take up to 3 months after starting for your moods to settle, so if you can, keep going until then and see if it settles. If it doesn't get any better, talk to your doctor about being switched.
For weight gain, are you drinking enough water? If we even start to become slightly dehydrated our bodies will being to hold water, causing bloating and water weight gain.
If that's not the cause, it could be the birth control. Even though the doctors will try to tell you that birth control doesn't cause weight gain, that's only true if you've found the 'perfect' combination for your body. While many women may stay the same or lose weight on Yasmin, others will gain weight.
