I had my first child in 2007 and i was put on loestrin 24 and now since i am not good at taking pills everyday i decided to stop taking them and i've been off them for 2 months, well when i started my cycle the 2nd day i started having real bad pelvic pain, it was very sharp pain that would hit me down in the vaginal area it felt like contractions because i was at work and had to literally hold onto something and scream it was just that bad, the doctor told me it came from when i stop taking the pills so now i am on nuvaring and if anyone have any suggestion on the nuvaring please let me know but i feel coming off some of this medication can just as harmful as taking them

Oh my God - I can't belive I have found someone with the same exact problems I am having. I have and just shy of 44 years old and I have been on Loestrin 24E for about 5 months now and for about 4 of those months, I have convince myselt that I have heart disease, a digestive disorder, a brain tumer, bi-polar disorder, pancreatic cancer, ovarian cancer and probably countless other things I just can't remember right now. I have had upper and upper GI, an ultrasound of my thyroid, a full blood workover and and ultrasound of my kidneys ( I suffer from stones) My mood swings are so bad - I can't stand to be with myself. I too fight dizziness and nausea at certain times of the month. I am calling my doctor on Monday and I am getting off of this pill.
I am going to start eating foods higher in natural estrins and perhaps find something more suitable to my body. Hang in there.

Hi someone help me I have been taking loestrin for probably five months now I am going back to planned parenthood this month to getmore but my cycle was so off last month I bled for a week and half while still on the white part of the pack! then when it came time for the brown ones where i'm actually supposed to have my period i only spotted....Now I'm over mid way through a pack and i'm having horrible pain in my lower left stomach pelvic area its dull aching.....Is there a chance i'm pregnant or something?? I've only had one case of unprotected sex since starthing this pill and i'm so worried that i'm either pregnant or this pill is causing issues....again I don't have insurance nad have an appt the 18th of this month so i won't know until then I'm worried has anyone else bled irregularly and only spotted then been pregnant or is it just f*ing with my cycle? thanks to all answers
