hello, do you still have your mirena inserted??? I 'm calling my dr today.
i have dizziness more now than ever and i keep gettting this swelling in my top left leg and hip!! i've been to dr and he said i had pinch nerve and veritgo!! i feel like i'm falling apart and it's scary. after reading everything i feel like it's the mirena . please let me know how you are feeling

Hi there - I had my merina taken out after 18 mths. In that 18 mths i gained 16kg and was put on anti-depressants. I decided enough was enough. Had the merina out, went off the anti depressants. Had tried to get off the tabs before but had shocking brain zaps. This time I told the doctor what I wanted to do. Iwent on Reductil 15mg which is a weight loss tab with a slight anti depressant in it. Worked a charm, not 1 side effect coming off. So now Im loosing weight 7kg in about 12 weeks. At first no weight loss so Itold doctor Iwanted some moduretic to take when I have my period. Fantastic - still had bad cramps but no bloating actually kept dropping weight. Have been able to keep the weight off and never hungry all the time like i was with the merina and antidepressants. I know a few girls who have had it removed-all had the same side effects - good luck!
