Hello, I was on Yasmin for 2 years and the only problem I had was bloatedness, heartburn and nausea to the WORST extent. when i went off Yasmin for a few months I felt perfect! after I started taking it a again the Nausea started to kill me, it was so bad I just could not take it anymore, so now I have switched to Triphasil (recommended by a friend) who also had nausea and stomach problems so bad, caused by Yasmin that she ended up in Hospital. Another friend of mine also suffered from mood swings caused by Yasmin. has anyone else had severe Nausea from this product? its awful.

I have! It was terrible. I was on it for 6 months before I noticed anything, but when it hit me, it hit me hard. I put up with it for 5 months before I switched. It was too much to handle being sick all the time.

I've taken Yasmin for at least 5 years after having used several other BC pills over the last 25 years. Yasmin is by far the best I've had, even though I did put on a couple of pounds. It is a relatively low dosage pill, and the nausea rate with Yasmin for me is 1/100 of what it was with every single other pill. I used to puke constantly from pills. If nausea troubles you, I recommend trying to take it at a different time of day for a few days until you find a time that your body's metabolism handles it better. You might be surprised. I have a TON of female troubles from adenomysis to endo to fibroids to crippling, incapacitating menstruation. I now take Yasmin 365 days a year. When my life turned into a two-weeks-off and one-week-on clotty, cripplingly painful flood, it was either that or a hysterectomy. I dread the day I have to quit taking Yasmin due to my age or menopause. It has been a lifesaver for me.
