Apr 2009 I am a male 58 yrs old recently had a leg & knee operation, experiencing very bad lower back pain along with cramps on affected leg which is on a cast. I started taking Lipitor about a year ago.

I suggest that you stop taking this dangerous drug. Lipitor can cause MANY side effects. Drs. and the drug co's have a HUGE racket for the anti-cholesterol drugs . . .big $ and while people suffer. Your body/mind needs cholesterol to function. There are many natural products and alternatives to control cholesterol . . . .if necessary.
