64 old male on the drug 10mg for several years, depression, cramps, back pain, foot pain. After talking with a retired Heart Surgeon he convinced me to stop taking Lipitor. Now I see I never should have taken the drug and it tells me how stupid I was not to research it more. The side affects from stopping have caused me some concern and I hope they will be gone in time.

Good that you stopped taking this dangerous drug . . . .I am a victim of this poison and I still kick myself that I didn't research better too, instead . . I trust my drs. I stopped taking it over 16 mos. ago. I still have side effects and continue to take natural products and alternatives to help. Hopefully, like you, in time we can restore good health. . . . .also, I am still angry about the drs. and the drug co's and the HUGE racket going on with the anti-cholesterol drugs. VERY SAD.

The only difference between the snake oil salesman of the 1800's and today is that back in the 1800's the snake oil salesman had a horse drawn wagon. Today he drives a Mercedes and sells Lipitor.
