Hi, I just posted something a little while ago but after reading more of people's side effects feel that I have some more in common. I have been taking lamictal for 2 years/ 300mg a day. The reason I was unsure if my side effects were actually related to it or not was because i didn't have any and now suddenly do. I have SEVERE dry mouth constantly and it is hell. I am also waking up with night sweats to the point where I have to go to bed with ice packs. I have become oilier and hairier. I have had all my hormones tested as I first believed it was that but the results came back fine. Has anyone else experienced side effects quite a long time after starting lamictal? Thanks again

hi fluff I have been on lamictal for about 1year for seizures and I don't have them as much I average mayube 2 a year which is great concidering the side effects. I thought I was getting old with everything that was happening like blurred vision. joint pain that comes and goes and how about forgetfullness and just plain feeling stupid whem it comes to helping my kids with there home work thank-god for my husband..I wake up at night after 2-3 hrs of sleeping hard but then I can't go back to sleep. My hair is growing which is great but that time of the month sucks alot more to deal with.I have also noticed that I get stuck on words and it comes out sounding like I am jerking out my words that is sad. At least I-am not having seizures like I use to
