Wow I'm so glad I found this website. I have had Mirena for about 6 months with pretty much no side effects. For the first two months I had a little irregular bleeding then it became more normal. However all of a sudden at 6 months I had major side effects. I was sure I was pregnant from all the symptoms I have been having, but all tests said I wasn't. Suddenly I My sudden symptoms were; stopped menstruation, which I had previously had the last 6 months. I then had breast tenderness, constant nausea, weakness, weight gain and exhaustion all the time!! I am getting Mirena removed as soon as possible as we plan on having another baby in the near future. I feared this entire month that I was pregnant and the risks of removing Mirena if I was. What are some symptoms you had once Mirena was removed?
