April I started Singulair last Thursday night and felt tired and depressed 29th on Friday but thought it was something going on in my life. On 2009 Saturday, I had severe, throbbing headaches all day but took the Singulair for the third night. Sunday, I again had throbbing head- aches so looked up this web site and thought, "Aha!" I stopped the medicine but had dull headaches on Monday and felt tired. On Tuesday, I woke up and had trouble breathing. I went to the doctor who ended up putting me on a nebulizer, giving me a shot of steroids and prescribing an inhaler that I'm to use 3 times a day as needed until the Singular is out of my system. I was only put on the Singular in the first place because my doctor thought my hoarseness might be from an allergy. What a nightmare! I also suffered from apprehensiveness, and also sleeplessness, and a fever. Never again!

I also was just put on Singular about 3 weeks ago. Took it for about a week until I noticed I was having shortness of breath. I had trouble going up my stairs without getting winded. Went back to dr. has put me on an inhaler, antibotics, which just before taking singular was walking the treadmill without any problems.

I actually ended up in the ER because I went "A Fib," meaning my heart rate was extremely accelerated and irregular. I was in for 6 days and finally had my heart shocked to put it back in "sinus rhythm." I have only been "A Fib" one other time in my life (I'm 69) and that only lasted for one hour and stopped on its own. I am now on Beta Space to slow and steady my heart rate. I really think my strong negative reaction to Singular set off the whole mess.
