I've been taking .25 of Toprol XL for about 5 years now. The firs few years were fine but the fatigue slowly starting getting worse. Now for the last 6 months I've been battling hypoglycemia. Does anyone know if the two could be related? It's a pretty awful feeling.

I had the same problem. Toprol interferes w/ blood sugar levels. They thought I was hypoglycemic until my doc decided to switch me to verapamil (calcium channel blocker) no more hypoglycemic symptoms . .Toprol doesn't
bring on hyglycemia, it gives you hypoglycemic symptoms. Ditch
the toprol and try something else. Look it up on the net or in any PILL BOOK about toprol side effects or special warning . .it will tell you
there it interferes w/ blood sugar levels giving false symptoms of
hypoglycemia. . .
hope this helps.
