please don't take neurontin. it is only approved as a second line medication for epilepsy. the company that makes it was sued for promoting its off-label uses to doctors, trying to get them to perscribe it for everything. there are many books that detail the neurontin case. they were trying to make it into a blockbuster drug, something that they couldn't do if the market was just a bunch of epileptics. the drug has nothing to do with pain. and even though the company had to settle, pay up and admit to false marketing, doctors still over perscribe the drug. stop taking it. you can do exercises to work through your carpal tunnel
