My daughter is 6 and has been on singulair for 2 years. Anytime we miss a pill she ends up with a fever of about 100 and is exhausted. Within a couple of days of her medicine it's gone again. The doctors think it's a complete coincidence but I don't agree.

By and large doctors are clueless in regards to SIngulair. Follow your instincts and do what's best for your child. There are other alternative medications.....Singulair is not the only drug or treatment available. SIngulair is not an important drug for pediatric asthma. Ask your doctor about the "efficacy" of Singulair as compared to inhaled corticosteriods.

This was what happened to my son when he missed his pill. It would start with what appeared to be a cold and he would take his singulair and it would go away. When I took him off singulair for good he started running a low grade fever, sore throat and cold like symptoms. It lasted about a week.

Get your baby daughter on some natural home remedies! Get some books ay the local health food store. She is too young for all of the toxic medications! Also, you can try some acai juice. Cheryl 973-303-0373
