Wouldn't it be great if some researcher took this on - I think there is tremendous potential to learn about how and why the brain reacts differently to drugs. Also, perhaps this research could lead to a better understanding of problems such as anxiety and suicidal ideation that crop up as side effects from drugs, but also arise from unknown reasons - reactions to stress combined with genetic tendencies.
I myself don't know how to find researchers to take this on - I suppose much of the research funding comes from pharmaceutical companies, but some comes from philanthropic or government institutions. Keep us posted if you find anyone interested.
Hey it good to see you back on this board!!!!!!
I for one, wish the FDA would call for new clinical trials on Singulair and use the Columbia University method to look at psychological side effects. There are way to many drugs that get approval on the fast track and these side effects pop up.To Bad the investigation into the problems does not go as fast as the approval process.I wish that you had someone in research to refer us to,I would be more than willing to contact the Pope to get this thing taken seriously!Again welcome back,Kate
