Both of the drugs can cause MANY side effects . . . when you mix drugs you can have interactions . . .better to take natural products. Unfortunately, drs. are taught to prescribe drugs in medical school, so they are drug-happy. . .that's all they know.

Many people get neuropathy from cholesterol lowering drugs. Very common. The letters in STATIN stand for: Scam Therapy And Treatment Induced Neurpathy.

it is sad to hear every one who take cholesterol medication end up with sever side effect.my father is victim of the lipitor and yet not recovered despite he quit fab2008.if cholesterol drug taking together with an antibiotic erythromycin will have sever side effect you can find this information from the book of australian doctor Sandra cabot her book title is cholesterol real truth and (are the drug you take making you sick).and i got this information from her book you can check on internet .she describe another medication witch is increasing the risk of developing rhabdomyolsis like Fibrate (another cholesterol lowering medication),erythromycin( an antibiotic),Antifungal,Niacin at high dosesand cycloporine (an anti -rejection drug for patient who have had an organ donation).
