Had Mirena inserted about October 2006. Hurt a lot and bled a lot upon insertion. Spotting for a short time and then no periods (spotting about 4 times in last 2.5 years). Perhaps an increase in iritibility but that can also be expected with 2 rambunctious kids and a less-than-perfect husband. :-) No other symptoms. Finally got Mirena removed because of acne problems that have lasted for a year. Got it removed April 24, 2009. No problems at all and my skin is clearing up nicely. Two weeks later I am now suffering from incredible dizzyness, nausea, fatique, and abdominal cramping, to the point of staying home from work. Though I'm also worried about the possibility of pregnancy as well.
