I'm 23 years old and had the Mirena put in 6 weeks after our firs...

uhmm , I'm very curious about your swollen lymph nodes in my hip-flexors?
What are your synmtonm of that? I have had a swelling in my hip from the day after I had the mirena inserted. Although, it has come and gone when I started my period , but I havent' had a period in 3 months and it will not go away. I had pap smear, blood work, and just got a steriod shot Thrusday and seeing what that will do. Other than that I have been treated with medicine for a pinch nerve!!! and back pain. I went to ER first time also. it's really wierd because i have back pain also, but it's like this swelling will not go away and it's in my muscle sort of????
I have had other numerous side effects too and want mine removed, I have hhad it for a year now and it seems like things seem to increase .

I'm starting to wonder is my problems are related to Mirena. It seems like since I have had it(6 months ago), I have had joint pain, tingling in my back and limbs, itchy eyes, digestive problems that seem to occur on a monthly schedule. I have been tested for auto-immune dieases and everything is normal. I have Hashimoto's but my thyroid levels are normal. The only thing I can think of is that I got Mirena around the same time I started feeling this way. Anyone else having this problem?

Did you ever get it taken out? I had the SAME thing happen to me! And then they discovered the Mirena perforated my uterus. Lovely huh? Just wondering your outcome on everything!? So frustrating!!!
