I started NuvaRing about a week ago and I think the diarrhea I experienced just hours after putting it in is related to it. I called my doctor first thing the next morning and since I had been sick with a cold, she thought that might be the reason for my symptoms - not the ring. She told me to take some Pepto and call her after a week. Took the Pepto and for two days I was fine but then after lunch the other day at work I had an urgent need to go to the bathroom and - sorry to be graphic - I pretty much emptied everything out of my body and it has been like that ever since. I was trying to be optimistic about the NR but I cannot keep anything in my body and I am now starting to experience a little pain in my lower abdomen. I switched to the NR because I forgot to take my pill each day but I think that I will remember to take it now. Back to Yasmin and I will never complain about taking a damn pill again!
