I was on ortho tri-cyclen lo from the time i was 16 til i turned ...

I had my Mirena IUD removed yesterday bc I was having INSANE problems with it. I knew I needed to get on another birth control, but did not have a clue which one was right for me. I hate feeling altered and moody. My husband and I had tons of problems bc of the way I treated him with the IUD. When talking to my doctor I didnt know if I should choose pills or Nuvaring...I went ahead and chose the Nuvaring bc he said it was the exact same thing and same horomones as the pill and it's easier. He said his wife was using Nuvaring. I haven't put it in yet bc I want my body to rid itself of all the hormones that are still in from the IUD. Now I am afraid to use anything!! Augh!! A friend of mine also got the IUD and then got it taken out and started using Ortho Low...which is what she had taken before. It's hard bc you can look up any of the BC pills and they all have the same complaints...
