You should have never been given this medication, especially at only 33. What was your doctor thinking? Try taking some COQ10, at least 100mg a day. L-Carnitine has been recommended by some, but I don't know the dosage. Doctors don't have any answers for this. They just write prescriptions. I have lost all trust in most doctors. Never take another statin and don't worry about your cholesterol numbers. Go to Dr. Graveline's website and learn more. I wish you well.
There is nothing wrong with a cholesterol of 234. Its a perfectly healthy number. But the medical industry wants you to think anything over 200 is "bad". Ita all about money. They sel the lab tests, the doctor visit, and the drugs- all for a made up disease. Then people fall sick on the drugs.
