I have had great luck on Yaz. I had terrible PMDD symptoms before I started and now they are pretty much gone and I am back to normal again. I noticed no serious side effects over the last 3 months on Yaz. My breasts swelled up a bit and I noticed increased dreaming, but nothing problematic. What everyone should realize is that while no drug is good for everyone, that doesn't mean it's not good for anyone!! If you have bothersome side effects, you should talk to your doc and find alternative BC methods. NEVER QUIT TAKING A DRUG SUDDENLY. Doing so can cause horrible side effects to worsen. In my opinion, people shouldn't just blog to other, possibly younger and less knowledgeable people to "quit taking it now and deal with the effects of stopping". That is terrible advice. Communication between you and your doctor is the recipe for success for any new treatment plan. Yaz has done wonders for me and my terrible mood swings. Just wanted to put this out there for anyone considering it, because you may have read some things down below written my ignorant people that could be a hazard to your health. If you don't like your doctor or can't reach them by phone, it may be time to find a second, third, fourth, etc. opinion. Trust your doctor, not the Internet.
