I am sitting here reading these posts shaking my head in disbelie...

I was on Yaz for about a year.

try again...I was on Yaz for about a year. My weight started to go up the last three months or so. At first i wasn't too disappointed, since i've always been thin and a few extra pounds didn't look bad at all, but then it crept up to a weight gain of 6lbs. I've always weighted about 116, so 5 pounds makes a difference to me. I noticed my boobs getting bigger and fuller and that was good-however my last month on the pill my stomach was getting bigger too! That's when I flat out quit. Reading these postings made me realize I had other symptoms...like guaranteed headaches during my period, non existant sex drive and perhaps even my bitchy attitude can be contributed to this pill. My main complaint is the dryness of my skin and eyes. Yes, my eyes. I couldn't even open them in the middle of the night because of how dry they were and still are. Now i'm just hoping all these symptoms will fade away. I'm having an IUD inserted again, I'm tired of these man-made hormones controlling my body.
