I have had severe idiopathic peripherial neuropathy in my hands and feet for 10 years. The dr. prescribed 1800 mg of Neurontin, but 6 months ago, after a long time of being more tired than you can imagine, and blood in the urine which the drs. couldn't never find a feason for, I talked him into letting me to gradually reduce it to 600 mg. The dr. has now put me on 150 mg of Topamax, and says he may increase it to 200 mg if I go off Neurontin. My question is, has anyone experienced any side effects similar to those of Neurontin, or any side effects on Topamax?
