I have been using the Nuvaring for at least three years now. Within the past 6 months my mood swings have become so severe that I decided not to use it anymore as of this past weekend. My doctor also keeps telling me to continue using it but this is it. I'm also guaranteed to have a migraine at the start of each month which no form of pain reliever will alleviate. With these symptoms I'm also experiencing weight gain. No fun considering the fact that I work out 5 days a week just trying to keep it off. If you decide to stay on just give it another month or two. I've started to wonder if my doctor is getting some form of kickback from the pharmaceutical companies to push this birth control. This is the only prescribed drug that I put into my body and to tell you the truth I could kick myself in the bum for doing it. No more for me! You only get one body girl...take good care of it.
