I'm 57 yrs old and have been on Lisinopril 40mg for about 8yrs....

I'm 57 yrs old and have been on Lisinopril 40mg for about 8yrs. I have a high constitution so at times I didn't notice things as quickly as others. I have always gotten my Lisinopril from the V.A. and noticed in recent months their source of supply for this drug. The V.A. went to a supplier called Major Pharmaceuticals, the pill is oval shaped instead of round. I have had bouts with depression , joint pain back, knees,hips and neck not to mention calves of legs swelling and worn to the touch. As of Tuesday of this week , 3days off lisinopril I have seen a dramatic change. of course my primary doctor non V.A. was involved and prescribed another medication. After three day off this Lisinopril , I don't know the source of I am very pleased and feel great. I am starting to think the drug companies are going for bargin basement drugs made where ever, THX S.
