I was just on Augmentin and I had the same type of joint pain that led to small jolts of pains in my legs, feet and hands. Then I statred to feel tingling and pins and needles feeling throughout my body. My doctor said this would not be from the drug, but I know it was. I also had severe diareha, nausea and headaches. It was horrible, they finally tooke me off and now I will start Cipro, I hope I do ok. I had a UTI that turned into a kidney infection. I need to just feel better:)
I am hopeful that you are feeling mostly better by now. I just wanted to respond that I had severe joint pain and neuralgia (among many other things) while on this medication. The joint pain and neuralgia took the longest to subside at 6 - 8 weeks. Good luck.
